Video of live guided tour functionality in virtual tours with integrated video call, video created by 3DVita:
RECOMMENDATIONS
Optimal performance (for host and guests):
Accept microphone and camera permissions when prompted by the browser.
Keep the least number of tabs in the browser open, try to leave only the one on the Virtual Tour.
In the middle of the Guided Tour, do not minimize or change windows or tabs, always remain throughout the tour.
Preferably access the guided tour from a computer.
Ensure a stable internet connection.
What browsers are supported?
As a host: Latest versions of Chrome and Firefox on Windows and Mac OS. On Android in Chrome when you enable desktop mode (it can be very unstable, so we don't recommend it) As a guest: Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge (latest versions) on Windows and Mac OS. Safari on iOS. Chrome on Android.
Frequently Asked Questions and Solutions:
I don't see the option to connect as a host in the context menu. Check this:

You are accessing the tour via https
You are not in the browser window in Incognito/Private mode
I'm the Host and I don't receive call notifications. Try this:

Click the lock icon next to the link in the search bar.
Click on the “Microphone”, “Camera” and “Notifications” drop-down menus, and select “Always allow on this site” for all of them.
Close all Chrome windows.
Go to your tour again.
Sign in as a host.
Open a new browser window in “Incognito Mode”
Navigate to your tour in that new window as well.
Try calling from the “Incognito Mode” window and check if the call appears in the window where you have an open host session

You can also use this tool to test all the steps involved in the WebRTC video call (the protocol used by our guided tours): https://test.webrtc.org
When I launch my tour from my embedded page, then right-click to start sharing, it reopens my tour at the root instead of staying in my embed. The tour page can't be in an iframe to work properly for a host, so it reopens outside the iframe. This is due to the automatic notifications needed to receive calls.
The sharing interface never disappears after starting and closing the session initially. If you have started a session as a host, you must end the session (by clicking on the lightning bolt icon) for the guided tour toolbar to disappear.
